Is this item a violin, viola, or a cello?
A lot of the commercially produced items aren't shaped with correct proportions for violin, viola or cello, so often we have to guess what we think it looks most like. We have tried to give good pictures so you can decide for yourself if that item is shaped like a violin, viola or cello.
What kind of wrapping paper do you use for gifts?
When you choose to have your order gift wrapped, we use glossy blue paper tied with a white organza ribbon. It is perfect for any occasion.
When will I get my order?
All in stock items ship within 24-48 hours after the order is placed (excluding weekends). Actual transit time depends on the method of shipping you choose. The time estimates are listed when you choose your shipping method during checkout, or you can find the different methods of shipping here:

What forms of payment do you accept?

Can I come visit your store?
Unfortunately, we don't yet have a physical store location. Our store is online (and mail order) only at this time. If you live in the Kirkland WA area, we'd be glad to arrange to meet you and bring samples of our inventory. Or just chat about violin-ing over some coffee!
I tried to call but got an answering machine, why?
Our business is a small business without lots of people manning phones. The down side to that is that you may get a busy signal or be routed to the answering machine during busy periods. The up side is that you get personal attention and no phone trees! Please be patient with us, we will definitely return your call if you leave a message.
How do I call or send a fax to the USA from my country?

Yes! You can avoid the shipping charge if you want to pick up your order. Give us a call at 425-829-4945 and we will arrange to drop off your order or have you pick it up.
Why is your store called The Violin Case if you don't sell violin cases?
We're very sorry about the confusion, we hadn't intended for the name to be frustrating. We wanted the feeling of casual friends gathering around their violin cases chatting while rosining up the bow. We may eventually sell cases, but can't currently do that market justice. We recommend
