Inspired by Man Ray's Dadaist/Surrealist "Violin D'Ingres" photo, two hand-dawn f-holes make the bottom of this tie appear as a violin, viola, cello or upright bass. Original illustration.  The tie is made of a soft microfiber, having almost the same feel as real silk and is printed with high-quality, non-toxic, waterbased ink. The tie is a standard 58" long and 3.75" wide.

Caring for your tie:  Put it the washer and dryer in a mesh bag or knotted pillow case so it doesn't float freely and get tangled.  Dry-cleaners can be a little too harsh on the ink, they vary so much in their chemistry. It is safe to iron even on the design.
